“Is this beautiful classic motorboat a Riva?”

Undoubtedly these boats have been my passion for decades. Coming from Switzerland, living at the lake of Zurich, my boat passion started with my father’s passion for the on the lake of Zurich built “Swiss Craft” wooden boats. Do you know where the name is coming from? I will tell you, when we meet each other!…It’s another great entrepreneur story…

But as we know, there are also “Boesch”, “Graf”, “J-Craft”, “Pedrazzini” and a few other boatbilders, who share the today’s passion of classic boat building.

With my years of travel and often to the lake of Como starting 25 years ago, I discovered the difference of design and sense of beauty between Swiss and Italien boat builders and designers.

So my favourite became the until 2011 actively producing shipyard of Giacomo Colombo in Menaggio (Co), sold to Gruppo Sarnico in 2007 and the legendary Riva wooden boats, which unfortunatedly ceased the production of mahogany classics, the Aquarama Special in 1996 in Sarnico.

After founding and managing for over 5 years an exclusive sharing boat platform, our BEL VIE Classic Boat Club with our own 4 classic boats, I intend to focus more on consulting passionate boaters on the water.

Thanks to my experience as an architect in designing, renovating, knowing the “who is who” in this particular small boat world, I am happy to advise classic boat enthousiasts on how to make their dreams come true!
